BLIND, STUPID AND DESPERATE

06/07: Preview: Liverpool
Opinion

Our Last Meeting
"In short, they applied the same formula as Stoke and Burnley and all the others, which is a considerable compliment, albeit one that we'd prefer that they hadn't paid. The difference, naturally, is that they did it with better players, enabling them both to maintain a much tighter grip on proceedings and to appear somewhat more attack-minded in the process. But the outcome was familiar: our goal, the goal that would've sent the Rookery beserk and ignited the tie, was only ever theoretical. In practice, we were struggling for ideas from the very moment that we realised that Liverpool weren't going to help us. From then, until the goal that underlined the outcome, we were determined and aggressive and proudly defiant, and very much second best."

Most Relevant Aspect of Babycare
Breast feeding. I mean, yeah, I'm sure it's advisable, and there's all sorts of reasons why it's more sensible than feeding formula milk. But according to some you're condemning your child to a life of misery if you don't breast feed exclusively until three years old. Not That Important. Sorry.

Going down instead of us because:
Bellamy? Pennant? Kewell? The new Newcastle. Egos-r-us.

BSaD Verdict
The additions of Bellamy and Pennant should cure the much-lamented lack of pace (Cissé's largely directionless pace doesn't count...), and the Reds could conceivably outdo both United and Arsenal and make second place. Which would be the first time since 1990 that neither United nor Arsenal finish in the top two… not a chance in hell of catching Chelsea though.
