Kevin Mitchell was borrowed from Chesham United for one game - an Auto Windscreen Shield tie against Peterborough - after Alec Chamberlain picked up an injury. We'd signed Jon Sheffield on loan to replace Chamberlain during his absence but were waiting for him to arrive so Mitchell stepped in. Due to Kenny Jackett's slightly odd obsession with having a keeper on the bench for cup ties, he was named as a substitute.
