Saint of the Day: Saint Bernadette of Lourdes was a poor sickly servant girl when the Virgin Mary started appearing to her in a series of eighteen visions. She was told to build a church and dig a well at what has become one of the biggest pilgrimage sites in the world. Many miracles have been attributed to the site, but the visions brought misery for Bernadette who joined a convent to avoid the unwanted fame and attention.

Further information

Nicholas Ralph's Numbers - Game 43: Utterly unremarkable, other than for the fact that it is, as of 2004/05, forty-three seasons since Watford first played Peterborough United.
Lucky animal: Mittens
Unlucky food: My breakfast. Just didn't quite do the job this morning, for some reason.
