On this day

Previous reports: West Bromwich Albion 1 Watford 1, 05/03/02
Saint of the Day: Saint Piran is the patron saint of Cornwall and his flag of a white cross on a black background is a traditional emblem of Cornish identity. According to legend he was actually from Ireland, but sailed to Cornwall on a stone raft. On arriving on a beach, he set about making his first converts to Christianity - a badger, a fox and a bear.

Further information

Nicholas Ralph's Numbers - Game 35: You know the Knight's Game, on the chess board. You try to move to each square just once using the Knight's move. You can't go more than thirty-five moves without crossing your path.
Lucky animal: A badger, a fox and a bear (see above).
Unlucky food: Fat-free lard.
The BSaD Interview: Throughout the 2004-05 Season BSaD are interviewing eminent ex-Hornets for the matchday programme. The Interviewee in Saturday's programme is Tony Coton.
