Steve Bruce's side hung around the play-offs for most of the season but fell away before the end. Would have finished seventh, but that place obviously had Wolves' towel on it, so settled for eighth.

Next season
I'm personally yet to be convinced that Steve Bruce knows what he's doing, and tinkering with formations in pre-season suggests he's not too sure either. However, Huddersfield have a strong squad. If they can replace Marcus Stewart anything like adequately they should be in with a good shout of a play-off place.
